Group Head of Sustainability

Nicola-Jane Sellers is the Head of Sustainability at Luxaviation Group, where she devises and implements the Group’s global sustainability strategy across principal divisions, including aviation services (AVS), fixed-based operations (FBO), and business aviation support services (BASS). With a decade of experience in the business aviation sector, Nicola-Jane embeds sustainability at the core of strategic decision-making, positioning ethical environmental and social business practices as key drivers in redefining the art of luxury travel and shaping sustainability as a lasting legacy of excellence.

Prior to her recent appointment, Nicola-Jane held multidisciplinary commercial charter roles across business jets and helicopters during her tenure with Luxaviation, underpinned by a strong passion for delivering high-end, luxury in-flight services. Her sustainability journey began in 2022, when she pursued academic studies focused on behavioural change in aviation, particularly supporting the adoption of SAF and carbon offsetting. She is an alumna of the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, where she will be undertaking an MSt in Sustainability Leadership.

Alongside her role at Luxaviation, Nicola-Jane serves as Chair of the Air Charter Association’s Next Generation Group, leading initiatives that engage and inspire young aspiring aviators to consider an aviation career. In 2022, she became the first female recipient of the prestigious Sir Michael Marshall Award for Sustainability in Aviation, an honour she received again on behalf of Luxaviation in 2024.
