Sabine von der Linden

Sabine began her aviation career in 1999 as a flight attendant before moving into the cockpit and progressing to captain. Her career has since encompassed international business aviation, private and charter operations, and extensive experience on the Bombardier Global series.

Sabine joined Luxaviation as a captain and has operated across the Group under the flags of Portugal, the United Arab Emirates, Denmark, San Marino and the United Kingdom. She is among the first five women worldwide to qualify as a captain on the Bombardier Global 7500.

Her expertise in pilot training, assessment and operational standards led her to become an instructor and examiner. Sabine subsequently joined Luxaviation’s management team, initially as an advisor and later as Group Standards Officer. In this position, she helped establish and implement operational standards, develop training programmes and support line trainers and check captains across the Group.

In September 2026, Sabine was appointed Chief Aviation Officer of Luxaviation Group. She is responsible for the Group’s aviation operations and reports directly to the President Aviation Services.

Sabine’s leadership approach is grounded in operational experience and the continued development of Luxaviation’s people. Her priorities include practical and meaningful training, supporting crews in their day-to-day decision-making, and maintaining the highest levels of safety, consistency and operational excellence across the Group.
