Sustainability & Politics Top the Agenda for Next-Gen Air Charter Professionals
At The Air Charter Association's (The ACA) annual Young Professionals’ Networking Evening, held on 27th February 2025 at the Royal Aeronautical Society in London, a survey revealed that young professionals in the air charter industry identify sustainability as the most critical factor affecting the sector this year. Politics, including issues like the 'French tax', labour concerns, and emissions regulations, also emerged as significant influences.

A Gathering of Emerging Talent
The event, hosted by The ACA’s NextGen group, gathered 75 professionals aged 35 or under from member companies. Kevin Ducksbury, chairman of The ACA, noted the growing consensus among younger generations on the necessity to advance decarbonisation efforts within the industry.
Outreach and Industry Awareness
Nicola-Jane Sellers, Chair of The ACA’s NextGen Group, highlighted the group's outreach initiatives, including participation in 24 career events to promote opportunities in the air charter sector. She also emphasised the importance of The ACA Internship Scheme in raising awareness and drawing young talent into the industry.
