ExecuJet South Africa Supporting Local Students

The Academy of Aviation, in partnership with the Cyril Ramaphosa Education Trust (CRET) Bursary, supported 11 students in undertaking SAQA-accredited careers at the academy.

This initiative aims to assist the students in gaining work experience, and in so doing, make a difference in their lives.

Three of the students are based at ExecuJet Lanseria as interns. They perform duties in the Lounge, Reception and Dispatch departments respectively. The students will be with ExecuJet up until January 2021.

We are very fortunate to have these students as part of our team during these trying times. We can see that they too are appreciative of the opportunity.

Here is what they said:

“Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work on such an innovative environment. I have Learned so much in such a short space of time. Working for ExecuJet has taught me more about the varied tasks in the Aviation industry which is more exciting and challenging.

I will take with me all that I have learned under your guidance and will fully raise the ExecuJet Flag up high because you are one in a Million.

I hope that I find full time employment with a company that is as competent and experienced as ExecuJet.

I would be more thrilled to find myself in your company again.

Thank you so much.”

“To the ExecuJet Management.

The opportunity to receive a job experience at your company has broaden my Aviation horizon beyond my expectations. I have come to appreciate the value of A Class customer service and the fantastic work culture at ExecuJet. The level of professionalism and grooming which defines the exclusive service offered by ExecuJet has evoked me to strive to become a better version of myself every day.

I also got to learn that indeed a lot happens behind the scenes pre and post flight. The people who make it all possible are not always just the front-line staff. Through the experience I have also learned to plan, anticipate, execute and evaluate daily. I have furthermore taught myself to communicate professionally with discretion and remain flexible to meet the clients’ ever-changing needs without compromising the vision and mission of the organisation.

Lastly, I want to Thank you very much for trusting me with your most valuable customers in the lounge. In the beginning I found myself being overwhelmed with all the new things around me. I soon adjusted and fell completely in love with my work.

Have a wonderful day.”

“I am really grateful for this opportunity of getting to be part of such an amazing company. Indeed, this has been a life changing experience for me and enormously has bolstered my worldview towards giving me the confidence to communicate with clarity within unfamiliar environment.

The exposure to commercial awareness assisted me a great deal in terms of bridging the gap and knowing how other people across the board operate. Furthermore, I am maturing daily as I am able to work in a team with different attributes, age, experience and knowledge thus broaden my horizon and intermediate surrounding and exposure.

Looking forward to seeing myself as being part of this amazing team permanently.

Thank you”
